    Foundation Year for Central Library: 1994

    The BVDU  College of Physical Education Library plays a vital role in the collection development and dissemination of Medical science and related disciples information to meet the present and future needs of its users which includes students, researchers and faculty.

    The BVDU College of Physical Education Library is specialized library consisting of 5877 documents on Physical Education and related disciples. The library is fully computerized using Library management software. The collection of the library is available online through the web OPAC facility of the SOUL.

    Library Services:

    The total area allocated for Central Library is 170.48 meter which includes below mentioned departments.

        • Library Rules for Students

          1. Library shall remain open between 10.00a.m.to 5.30p.m. from Monday to Friday and 10.00a.m. to 01.00p.m. on Saturday.
          2. Books can be issued or returned only between 10.00a.m. to 5.00p.m.
          3. On entering the Library, students should deposit their I-card/smart card in library and bags should be kept on the racks placed inside the library.
          4. Silence is to be maintained in the library strictly.
          5. Only one book shall be issued per student for a period of 6 calendar days. A delay of every single day shall be liable for a fine of Rs.01/-.
          6. Re-issue of the same book can take place, if the book has not been reserved by any other student/teacher.
          7. Student should issue the books only on their own library card.
          8. Student should maintain a queue while issuing or returning a book.
          9. Students who are found causing any kind of damage to the book shall be severely fined.
          10. Reference books are not to be taken outside the library.
          11. Mobiles and other electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
