Library Rules & Regulation
- Identity card is must to enter the Library.
- our library has an open access system.
- Talking, eating, smoking, sleeping is strictly prohibited.
- No bags, umbrella, parcels etc except files and books may be brought in to the library.
- Silence must be maintained in the library strictly.
- Only one book can be issue on library card for one week.
- Reference book will be issue on identitiy card for the use in the reading hall only.
- Books must be returned on or before the due date. A fine can be imposed on anyone returning an overdue book.
- Borrwers will be held responsible for materials out on loan.
- If the identitiy card, library card or a book is lost, an immediate report should be made to enable appropriate action to be taken.
- No books or library materials may be brought out of the library without being issued.
- A member must enter his / her name and time of entry and put his/ her signatures legibly in the register kept at the entrance for the purpose as a token of his acceptance to abide by the LIBRARY rules
- Those who want to issue book from any allow BVDU Library should issue a letter form the librarian.
- The library will not accept responsibility for the loss or misplacement of personal belongings.
- Laptops & Mobile Tablets may be used to access e-resources using College of RGITBT Wi-Fi connectivity.
** Rules for using Computer
- Identity card is a must to enter the libary.
- Do not use the computers to for personal emails, games, music etc.
- Do not install or uninstall any program or services in any cmputer.
- If any device of the cmputer is not working do not fix it kindly report to reference desk or librarian.
- You are allowed ot use the cmpputer for a time allocated by the Librarian.
- Note. The Librarian is empowered to without library facilites for any infringement of these rules.

Established Year for Library: 2002-2003
The BVDU Rajiv Gandhi IT & Biotechnology College Library plays a vital role in the collection development and dissemination of Social science and related disciples information to meet the present and future needs of its users ,which includes students, researchers and faculty.
The BVDU Rajiv Gandhi IT & Biotechnology College Library is special collection for 3250 Books, 321 e-book,16 International,National journal & Magazine including also, 100 CD/Vdeo, 54 Bound volume & 300 Thesis. The library is fully computerized using library management System software. The collection of the library is available online through the web OPAC, and facility of the Library Management System software.
